The Patient, Client and Caregiver Partnership Council (PCCPC) ensures that Ontario Health Team decisions reflect the real needs of our community.

We aim to:

  • Bring lived experience into health system planning and improvement

  • Improve access, quality, safety, and coordination of care

  • Identify barriers and help design practical, community-informed solutions

  • Promote more equitable and inclusive services

  • Strengthen communication between residents, providers, and decision-makers

As a Council member, you will help ensure OHT initiatives truly meet the needs of local residents. Your insights will directly inform programs, priorities, and system improvements.

Your involvement may include:

  • Attending bi-monthly virtual Council meetings (1.5 hours each)

  • Participating in working groups or short-term projects (approximately 1–2 hours per month)

  • Sharing your lived experience to guide programs and services

  • Advising on projects and strategic initiatives

  • Helping identify gaps in care and opportunities for improvement

  • Co-designing policies and solutions

  • Reviewing materials and providing feedback

  • Helping shape how information and updates are shared with the community

Meetings are typically held virtually on weekdays during regular business hours. We value your time and aim to make participation meaningful, flexible, and well-supported.

PCCPC members receive honoraria in recognition of their time, expertise, and contributions.

Details about compensation will be shared during the onboarding process.
